01 Night /02 Days Trip from /to Muscat
 
Day 01 Muscat / Quriyat / Fins Beach / Waadi Shaab /Ras Al Hadd
 
At 0800 hrs you will meet your guide in the lobby/residence who will embark you on your 4 wheel drive for a 2 days soft adventure program.
This tour along the coast line to Sur offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman that offsets pristine white beaches. Visit the Quriyat village, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea and the port Quriyat still guarded by a watch tower is dated back to 1635. Continue your through overlooking superb white beaches hundreds of metres long. Arrive at the Fins beach ( white beach ), stop for a short swim or just laze under the sun and continue to Wadi Shaab, Shaab in Arabic means “Ravine between Cliffs“. Proceed to Ras Al Had. Arrive at the camp site and check in. Dinner at the camp. After dinner proceed to turtle beach to watch turtles.

Day 02 Ras Al Hadd / Sur /Wadi Khalid / Wahiba Sands / Muscat
 
Breakfast at the camp. Proceed to Sur town. Drive through the Sur town and proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid which stands out like an oasis in the desert with clear green natural spring water pools. Spend some time here before continuing to Wahiba Sands which stands out in stark contrast to Wadi Bani Khalid .The “Wahiba Sands” often described as a perfect example of Sand Sea ,consists of large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 mts and orange in colour. Our experienced drivers will drive you through the desert over the undulating dunes to give you a thrill of dune driving. Later if you wish you might take a walk over the dunes or go for another round of dune bashing with the driver before proceeding to Muscat.
Arrive at Muscat around 18:00 hrs.

Please note that one 4x4 wheel vehicle can accommodate maximum of 4 adults comfortably. (This trip can be arranged by breaking the journey at Wahiba sands and spending the night in Wahiba. In this case clients will reach Wahiba on the 1st night and 2nd day we will proceed to Sur – Wadi Shab - Fins Beach and back to Muscat via coastal road)

02 Nights / 03 Days Sur/Nizwa A Round Trip

Day 01 : Muscat / Quriyat / Fins Beach / Wadi Shaab / Sur

You will be met by your guide in the lobby who will embark you on your 4 wheel drive for a 3 days soft adventure program. This tour along the coast line to Sur will offer breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman that offsets pristine white beaches. Visit the Quriyat village, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea and the port of Quriyat still guarded by a watchtower. Continue on the newly built express way, sometimes touching the sea following a creek or overlooking superb whitebeaches hundreds of meters long. Stop at the Fins beach (White beach), stop for a short swim and continue to 'Wadi Shaab ', Shaab in Arabic, literally means 'Ravine between Cliffs”.  Proceed to your vehicles and drive to Sur. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 02 : Sur / Wadi Bani Khalid / Wahiba Sands / Nizwa

After breakfast at 0800 hrs depart for Wadi Bani Khalid, which stands out like an oasis in the desert with clear green natural spring water pools which give ample scope for a swim before continuing to the Wahiba Sands which stands out in stark contrast to Wadi Bani Khalid. The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a perfect example of Sand Sea consists of large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 mts and orange in colour. Our experienced drivers will take you on a dune bashing tour through the undulating sand dunes to experience the thrills of dune driving. Proceed to Nizwa and check in at the hotel.

Day 03 : Nizwa / Bahla / Jabrin / Muscat

After breakfast at 08:00 hrs proceed on a tour of the Oasis city of Nizwa, which was once the capital of Julanda Dynasty in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort. Visit the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city. From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved "Khanjar" and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is electric. After the tour here proceed to the Jabrin Fort, Arrive at Jabrin to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning. This castle has extremely well planned layouts with rooms for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerizing. After visiting the Forts you will proceed for a tour of Misfah, a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock. The houses cling to the rocks, this looks precarious but it has been here for centuries. You will park your car at the entrance of the village and then walk into the village. A short walk through the village will bring you out looking down at the Falaj and water pools which is still used for washing.

Oman Discovery

Day 01 : Muscat / Nakhal / Bilad Sait / Al Hamra / Nizwa

After breakfast 0800 hrs you will meet your tour guide and the drivers will escort you to the waiting 4 wheel drive which you will board for a soft adventure tour. Arrive at Nakhal and visit the Nakhal Fort. This fort once served the Imams of Bani Kharous and the Ya'arubah dynasty. After recent restoration work carried out, it is refurbished with the traditional furniture, handicrafts and historic relics. The ceilings, the doors and the windows are decorated with beautiful carvings. The view from the roof-top is very impressive and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The old village of Nakhal, which nestles below the fort, gradually leads to the famous warm springs of Nakhal situated at the end of an attractive Oasis. Relax by the side of the shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush green date plantations and steep mountain peaks. After the visit proceed to Bilad Sait through the foot hills of Jabal Akdhar Mountain. Cross the mountain and arrive at Al Hamra. Visit the old mud houses at al Hamra and proceed to Nizwa.

Day 02 : Full Day at Nizwa

After breakfast at 0800 hrs you will drive to the Oasis city of Nizwa and then continue on a tour of the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city. From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved Khanjar and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is electric. Continue your drive to the Jabrin castle en-route to Nizwa. The castle, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts with rooms for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerizing. You will stop en-route at the Bahla Fort for a photograph of the fort which is listed under the UNESCO’s list of world heritage site. After the visit drive back to the hotel.

Day 03 : Nizwa / Sinaw / Ibra / Wahiba Sands / Sur

After breakfast you will check-out and proceed to Ibra. You will meet your 4 wheel drivers who will escort you to the waiting 4 wheel drive which you will embark for a 2 days soft adventure tour. Time permitting you will stop at the old town of Sinaw. After local lunch you will proceed to the great desert of Oman known as “Rumlat Al Wahiba” where our expert driver will give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes. After enjoying the dune driving, you will bid goodbye to the inhabitants of the desert to proceed to the town of Sur. You will check-in at Sur Plaza hotel. Evening after dinner proceed to Ras Al Hadd to see the green back turtles coming to the beach to lay eggs. After spending some time here you will drive back to the hotel.

Day 04 : Sur / Wadi Shaab / Quriyat / Muscat

Breakfast the hotel. At 0830 hrs you will be met by your guide in the lobby who will escort you to the waiting 4 wheel drive which you will embark to proceed to Muscat. You will drive along the coast to arrive at 'Wadi Shaab ', Shaab in Arabic, literally means 'Ravine between Cliffs Proceed to the white beach where you could take the opportunity of swimming in the Omani Waters. After spending some time here, continue your drive along the coast line which offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman that offsets pristine white beaches . You will drive past the port of Quriyat which is still guarded by a watch tower dating back to 1635. You will arrive in Muscat at approx 1700 hrs.

Land of the Forts & Mountains – Individual Tours
 
Day 01 : Arrive Muscat – 20 kms approx

You will arrive at the Seeb International Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the Immigration counter, Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival lounge you will be met by your chauffer / guide who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you at the hotel.
 
Overnight at the Muscat Holiday Hotel or Similar 

Day 02 : Half Day Muscat Tour – Approx 50 kms
At 0800 hrs you will be met by your tour guide at the lobby to depart for the Mystical Muscat experience. Our guide will give you in-depth information about the city, country. We proceed to Grand Mosque ( Ladies have to cover their head with scarf and full sleeve covering their shoulders ). After grand Mosque your tour will take you through the seaside residential area of Qurum to the National Museum. After a tour of the museum you will continue drive to Old Muscat en-route stopping at the Zawawi Mosque for a photo stop. Continue drive through the city to corniche water front to visit the Muttrah souq (market place) probably the oldest in Oman with charm & choice. Here you will be left on your own to wander around in the narrow lanes and admire the goods on sale & enjoy the thrill of discovery.
After the visit to the souq you will board your vehicle to drive through the old city to the Al Alam Palace (photo stop) an architectural marvel for both the design & location between the twin forts of Jalali & Mirani. The Jalali fort was built in 1558 AD during the presence of the Portuguese in the Sultanate. This fort was Muscat's main prison for many years, a sinister & awesome building. The Mirani Fort located at the end of the Western wall of old Muscat, facing the sea was built on top of a mountain to be a governing center. After having spent some time here taking photographs you will return to your vehicle to drive back to the hotel.
 
Day 03 : Muscat/Quryat/Fins Beach /Wadi Shaab / Sur – Approx 270 kms

 Breakfast the hotel. 0800 hrs. Meet our guide at the lobby at 0800 hrs and embark your 4 wheel drive for a soft adventure program. This tour along the coast line to Sur offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset pristine beaches. Arrive at Quriyat, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea. The port of Quiriyat is still guarded by a watchtower. Continue on the bumpy track, sometimes touching the sea following a creek or overlooking superb white beaches hundreds of metres long. Arrive a Fins beach (White beach) stop for a short swim and continue to 'Wadi Shaab ', Shaab in Arabic, literally means 'Ravine between Cliffs " shallow green pools and abundant shade give wadi shaab a perfect setting for a picnic. you may take a long walk inside the wadi, later return to your vehicles and proceed to Sur.
 
Arrive at Sur and Check in at Sur plaza hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 : Sur /Wadi Bani Khalid / Wahiba Sands – Approx 200 kms

After breakfast 0800 hrs depart for a short tour of the Sur town to visit the dhow building yard later proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid, which stands out like an oasis in the desert with clear green natural spring water pools, Which gives ample scope for a swim before continuing to the Wahiba Sands which stands out in stark contrast to Wadi Bani Khalid. The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a perfect example of Sand Sea consists of large ranges of dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 mts and orange in color.
 
Arrive at the pre arranged camp site for overnight.

Day 05 : Wahiba Sands / Ibra / Sinaw / Jabal Shams – Approx 270 kms
 
Breakfast at the camp. After having spent some time here in the desert you will leave the desert to continue drive to Nizwa.   On the way you visit Ibra souq . After visiting Ibra proceed to Sinaw to see the old village and the abandoned souq. 
 
Arrive at nizwa and continue drive to Jabal shams. Stop at Misfah, a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock. The houses cling to the rocks, this looks precarious but it has been here for centuries. You will park your car at the beginning of the village and then walk in to the village. A short walk through the village will bring you out looking down at the falaj and water pools which is still used for washing. After a short visit you will return to your vehicles to continue your drive to Jabel Shams the highest peak in Oman at over 3,000 meters. Jabel Shams means “Mountain of the Sun”, its old name is Jabel Al Qanah. The area is home to weavers of heavy woollen rugs in distinctive colours. Here you may take a walk to see the Grand Canyon

Day 06 : Jabal Shams / Bahla / Jibreen / Nizwa – Approx 150 kms

After breakfast at the camp, depart from jabal shams and proceed to the JABRIN FORT, en-route, stopping at BAHLA for a photograph of the BAHLA FORT, now a World Heritage Site. Arrive at JABRIN to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castle built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning .This castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the “Wali” - the ladies room, the kitchen, the “MAJLIS” etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerising.

After breakfast, depart from Nizwa and proceed to bilad sayt through the foot hills of jabal akdhar mountains. Cross the mountain through bilad sayt village and arrive at Wadi bani Awf and proceed to Nakhal. The Batinah is the most fertile region in Oman. You will find date palms and other plantations all along the way. continue your drive to NakhL fort and the hot water springs. After having spent some time here you will continue your drive to Al Sawadi beach resort for beach extension.
 
Those who do not want to extend their stay at Al Sawadi beach can be dropped off either at the Muscat airport or at their hotel of extension in Muscat.

Oman Experience 4x4 Round Tour Program

Day 01 : Arrive Muscat

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the Immigration. Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Day 02 : In Muscat

After breakfast 08:30 HRS you will meet your tour guide and proceed for a tour of the Muscat city. Our experienced guide will give you an insight of the country. The tour starts with a visit to the NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUMS with flora & fauna which boasts of a giant fossil. From here proceed for a visit of the GRAND MOSQUE (open for visitors from sat to wed 8-11 AM only, except the holidays) which is one the largest mosques in the world with beautiful art works, chandelier & a one piece carpet covering the entire prayer hall measuring approx 4300 square meters. After the visit continue your drive to the “AL ALAM PALACE” (visit stop only – photography is not permitted) flanked by the two Portuguese Forts of “JALALI & MIRANI”. Continue your drive along the corniche waterfront to the “MUTTRAH SOUQ”, one of the oldest souqs in Oman.

Day 03 : Muscat / Nizwa / Bahla / Jabrin / Nizwa

After breakfast at 0800 hrs you will check-out and proceed to Nizwa. You will drop in your baggage at your hotel in Nizwa & proceed on a tour to the OASIS CITY OF NIZWA, which was once the capital of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Day 04 : In Nizwa

After breakfast proceed on a tour to MISFAH a village in the mountain seemingly hewn out of rock. The houses cling to the rocks, this looks precarious but it has been here for centuries. You will park your car at the entrance of the village and then walk into the village. A short walk through the village will bring you out looking down at the Falaj and water pools which is still used for washing. After a short visit you will return to your vehicle to continue your drive to the village of AL HAMRA before proceeding to JABEL SHAMS, the highest peak in Oman at over 3,000 meters. Jabel Shams means “Mountain of the Sun” and its old name is JABEL AL QANAH. The area is home to weavers of heavy woollen rugs in distinctive colours. Take a walk to see the GRAND CANYON before returning to your vehicle to drive back to the hotel where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 : Nizwa / Sinaw / Ibra /Wahiba Sands

After breakfast you will check-out and proceed to IBRA. We also stop to visit SINAW. Thereafter we drive towards the desert. On arrival at the desert entry point your 4WD will embark on the drive to the desert camp site through the desert terrain, the great desert of Oman known as “RUMLAT AL WAHIBA” where our expert driver will give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes. After enjoying the dune driving you will continue to the Desert Camp site. Enjoy your evening under the star studded sky.
Dinner & Overnight at the AL RAHA DESERT CAMP SITE (Please note it is a camp with basic facilities)

Day 06 : Wahiba / Wadi Bani Khalid / Ras Al Had

After breakfast you will proceed for another round of dune bashing before bidding goodbye to the inhabitants of the desert to proceed to WADI BANI KHALID which stands out in contrast to the desert with dates and palm trees plantation with clear water pools. After having spent sometime here you will proceed to RAS AL HADD
 
Check in at the Ras al had beach hotel or Turtle beach resort
 
Later in the night proceed to Turtle beach too see the green back turtles coming to the beach for laying eggs. (not every visit is guaranteed that we would see the turtles coming ashore). After spending some time here you will drive back to the hotel.

Day 07 : Ras Al Had / Sur / Wadi Shaab / Quriyat / Muscat / Out

After break fast proceed to Sur. Sur is famous for the dhow building. Drive through the Sur town and you will drive along the coast to arrive at 'WADI SHAAB ', SHAAB in Arabic literally means 'Ravine between Cliffs". Proceed to the white beach where you could take the opportunity of swimming in the Omani water. Continue the drive along the coast line which offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset pristine beaches. You will drive past the port of QURIYAT which is still guarded by a watch tower dating back to 1635. Continue on the bumpy track, sometimes touching the sea following a creek. You will proceed to Seeb International airport to board your onward flight and for those who extend their holiday in Oman will drive to their respective hotels in Muscat.

Salalah Extension

Day 01 : Arrive at Salalah

Arrive at Salalah and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Over night stay at the hotel.

Day 02 : East And West Salalah Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. The excursion trip begins in the morning with a visit to the old fishing village of “Taqah”, famous for the manufacture of dried Sardines & its traditional and old dhofari houses. Here you will see some old houses elegant in their looks and visit the Taqa Castle before proceeding to Samhuram. Samhuram is a famous port from where the frankincense trade used to take place. Excavations here have found coins and manuscripts in Arabic. You will see the remains of Queen Sheba's Palace on top of a small hill overlooking the Khor Rawri. The drive along the coastal road takes you to the old city of Mirbat where the Arabian Horses & slaves trade used to take place. You will see as well the Mirbat Castle overlooking the sea. A walk into the town shows you some old and beautiful merchant houses with carved doors and windows. Afterwards you will return to your vehicle to drive back to Salalah. En-route stop at the beautiful garden of Ain Arzat from where the Royal Farm is still supplied with water.
 
A tour of West Salalah visiting Job's tomb also known as the mosque & tomb shrine of " Nabi-Ayuob" marks the place where the remains of the Moslem Prophet possibly identified as Job of Old Testament are enshrined. Drive on to Mughsail Beach, which stretches over four kms with high cliffs on either side. You can also see the blowholes, which are worn into slabs, and during high tides you see the water bursting out of these holes. Khor Mughsail has an abundance of bird life in the season for  e.g. flamingos, pelicans, storks etc. The tour ends with a visit to the Frankincense tree known as the "Holy Incense".

Day 03 : Half Day City Tour of Salalah

After breakfast proceed for a city tour of SALALAH. This tour will give you a variety of the old and modern culture of the region. We drive through the greenery of Coconut and Banana plantations. Visit the footprints of Prophet Saleh’s Camel and the tomb of Nabi Omran. Proceed to the Heritage souq where you can find different types of Omani crafts and incense burners. A visit to the New souq will give you an exact view of the Arabian market. Drive to the Gold souq offers modern and old style Dhofari ornaments. On the way to Al Hafa you can see some typical Dhofari houses with carved windows and doors. Walking by the sultan’s residential palace Al Husn, you reach the old souq where the Frankincense, Dhofari traditional clothes and cosmetics are available. Before returning to the hotel visit the ancient city of Zufar. 
 
Departure transfer to Salah Airport.
